Children of all Ages and Dogs of all Breeds Welcome at Second Annual Arden Bark Dog Show

Proceeds benefits Arden Park Recreation and Park District

Children, families and their beloved canines are invited to the second annual Arden Bark Dog Show on Saturday, March 26 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.  The event will be held at Arden Park, located at 1000 La Sierra Blvd., in Sacramento and all proceeds will benefit the Arden Park Recreation and Park District’s Pet Facility Improvement Program.

The event will include contests with judging for longest tail, mammoth dog, mini dog, best bark, doggie/owner look alike, best pet trick and much more.  Winners will receive prizes and ribbons.  A cash prize will also be awarded in the essay contest to the child who best answers the question, “If dogs were teachers, what would they teach?”  There will also be dog talent demonstrations, dog adoptions and a hot dog stand.

The event is co-sponsored by Caroline Jensen, a Realtor with the Sacramento Sierra Oaks office of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage.

“We’re really looking forward to Arden Bark this year,” said Jensen.  “It’s such a wonderful event for the entire family.  Dogs bring so much joy into our lives and this is a fun way to get together with dog lovers of all ages to celebrate and honor our furry friends.”
