Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, the Bay Area’s leading real estate services company, announced today that Kim and Barbara Marienthal, longtime agents in the company’s Berkeley office, have received the prestigious 2012 BAR Cares Award from the Berkeley Association of Realtors.
In addition, two agents in the company’s Berkeley office, Kathie Longinotti and Chris Neddersen, along with the office’s manager, Marcia Schwartz, were installed as directors of the association at its annual installation event in early December.
The Marienthals were selected from nominations by the association’s membership as this year’s winners of the BAR Cares Award. The award is given in recognition of agents who give tirelessly to their communities along with outstanding professional service to their clients.

Kim has been with Coldwell Banker since 1984 serving clients in Berkeley, Albany, El Cerrito, Kensington, and North Oakland. Barbara joined his real estate practice in 1995. Together, they have become the sales leaders in the Berkeley office, qualifying them as President’s Elite members. Kim received his bachelor’s degree in economics and environmental studies from U.C. Santa Cruz and a master’s degree in environmental planning from U.C. Berkeley. Barbara received her bachelor’s degree in economics and real estate investment from the University of Lodz in Poland.
