Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Launches ‘Blu’ – An Innovative One-Stop Marketing Platform for Home Listings

New technology lets agents quickly create everything from property websites to virtual tours, marketing brochures and social media promotions in one simple step.

Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, Northern California’s leading real estate services company, announced today that it has rolled out an innovative new one-stop marketing platform that will enable its 3,600 agents to quickly and easily produce everything they’ll need to effectively market a home.

The new exclusive agent technology, called Blu, provides a single place for agents to order professional photography, create a website for their property listing, set up a virtual tour, generate online and print marketing materials, and begin social media promotion of the home.

The program has been further expanded to allow agents to edit their property photos, create a video slideshow to be shared on YouTube, generate quick response codes to use in marketing, upload a floor plan for the property and create brochures that can be emailed or posted on key websites like Craigslist.com.  They also have the option of receiving tracking analytics for their listing website, and to create virtual tours that can be viewed on tablet devices – all at no additional cost.

In the past, professional Realtors often had to go to dozens of different places and spend countless hours pulling together all the tools they needed to market and sell their clients’ listings. The new Blu marketing platform puts all of those products and services literally at an agent’s fingertips in one simple step for the first time.

“In this very competitive real estate marketplace, it’s absolutely critical that when we present an agent’s listing to the market, we do so with all of our ducks in a row and at the highest level of quality possible,” said Kris Vogt, president for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage.

The process of creating the online and print marketing materials begins with a Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage agent ordering professional photography of their listing. Within 48 hours, the photos will be uploaded and agents will be able to use those in instantly creating all of the marketing products necessary to sell the home.

Blu is just the latest advanced technology deployment by Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, which has a well-earned reputation for being at the forefront of real estate technology.  The company was one of the first brokerages in the nation to roll out a comprehensive, web-based CRM platform for its agents throughout California.
