Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, the leading real estate service company in the Bay Area, announced today two additions to its Marin County management team. Joanne Zavlaris will act as assistant manager, overseeing agent services and Kevin Kearney as assistant manager, overseeing transactions, of the company’s Central Marin offices in Greenbrae and Ross Valley, and Southern Marin offices in Mill Valley, Sausalito and Belvedere.
Zavlaris will focus on helping agents with training and career development as well as new agent orientation, while Kearney will support agents on the technical matters of sales transactions, file management, and escrows. Both will be working under Kevin Patsel, longtime manager of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Greenbrae, who was recently announced as manager of the company’s Southern Marin offices as well.
“Joanne and Kevin will be excellent additions to our Marin management team,” said Patsel. “Both have extensive experience in real estate and business and will be a tremendous source of support for the more than 135 agents who make up our central and southern Marin offices. Having them as leaders and mentors will only help our agents take their businesses to the next level and further excel professionally.”
Zavlaris, an agent with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Southern Marin for the last five years, has extensive experience supporting professionals. She spent several years recruiting for the Pettit & Martin law firm in San Francisco, then headed up training and career development for Scient, a consulting firm that worked with Internet start-up companies. A longtime resident of Marin County, she has volunteered with the Mill Valley Community Schools Foundation, Mill Valley Library and Mill Valley Centennial Celebration. She will continue her successful real estate business specializing in sales throughout Southern Marin.
Kearney, a 10 year real estate veteran, was an award-wining agent with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in San Francisco for nine years. Most recently, he worked with his brother, Brendon Kearney, at Vanguard Properties in San Francisco before moving his real estate business to Marin County. He plans to continue working with his brother on business in San Francisco, while expanding his business locally and helping to support agents in the community. Kearney lives with his wife in Marin County and volunteers on the board for HandsOn Bay Area, a San Francisco organization dedicated to strengthening communities through volunteer action and leadership development.
