Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, the leading provider of real estate services in the Bay Area, announced today that renowned San Francisco Realtor Nina Hatvany ranked as one of the company’s top agents in Northern California and the nation for sales last year.
A highly regarded luxury real estate specialist, Hatvany finished 2011 as the third most successful individual Realtor in Northern California, outpacing more than 3,600 sales associates. In addition, she finished fourth in the U.S. and worldwide for Coldwell Banker, surpassing more than 87,000 agents in 49 countries.
Hatvany, who works in the company’s TRI Coldwell Banker office on Van Ness Avenue, was involved in more than $102 million worth of luxury home sales last year.
“When it comes to luxury real estate, Nina is truly one of the very best in the business,” said Rick Turley, president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage. “She is the consummate professional, someone who sets the bar when it comes to expertise, attention to detail, and incomparable customer service. We congratulate her on this well-deserved honor.”
Hatvany was recognized for her accomplishments during a company ceremony last month at the Coldwell Banker Generation Blue Experience in New Orleans.
Since joining Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage two decades ago, Hatvany has been one of the two top agents in her office as well as one of the top 10 agents in Northern California. She has been honored nationally for her sales accomplishments, including being named the number nine agent in the U.S. in the Wall Street Journal’s top 200 ranking.
Hatvany represents both buyers and sellers of luxury homes, condominiums and apartment buildings. Her interest in property sales stems from the many years she spent in real estate development. She built townhouses in Palo Alto, refurbished several Bay Area apartment buildings and restored and rehabilitated several homes in San Francisco. She has both a real estate sales license as well as a contractor’s license.
Originally from the U.K., Hatvany has a B.S. degree from Bristol University in England. She received a Master’s degree and Ph.D. in psychology from Stanford University. She was a professor in organizational behavior at the Graduate School of Business at Columbia University. Additionally, she has taught at the Graduate School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. Hatvany is married with three children and lives in Pacific Heights.
The TRI Coldwell Banker office is located at 1699 Van Ness Avenue. Hatvany can be reached by calling 415.229.1285 or via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
