Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage announced today that its Orinda office has awarded two Spencer Neale Memorial Scholarships for Excellence in Art to Erin O’Connell and Michelle Singh, 2011 graduates ofCampolindoHigh School. Each student received $1,250 for their college educations.
This is the second year the scholarships were awarded to Campolindo art students. Spencer is the daughter of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Orinda sales associate Audrey Neale. Audrey’s fellow agents and administrative staff created the scholarship in Spencer’s honor and collected and contributed the scholarship money.
“Spencer was very passionate about art so we wanted to do something in her memory that would allow her passion and creativity to continue through others,” said Valerie Cook-Watkins, managing broker at Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage inOrinda. “It was wonderful to see so many people come together and share their generosity so that Erin and Michelle may further their education in such an important subject. We look forward to following their successes throughout their college years.”
