Veteran Elk Grove Realtors The Vasu Team Join Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage

Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, the leading provider of real estate services in Northern California, announced today that veteran Elk Grove real estate group the Vasu Team has joined the company’s Elk Grove office.  Comprised of Renie and Vance Vasu and their daughters, Jennifer Hovland and Julie Vasu-Thompson, the team has more than 70 years of combined experience.  In their new position, they will continue specializing in residential sales in the Sacramento and Elk Grove regions.

Renie Vasu has worked in the real estate industry for 31 years.  She began her career in mortgage banking where she worked for 10 years before moving in to real estate sales and earning her broker’s license.  She has closed more than $305 million, sold nearly 930 homes, and received numerous awards throughout her career for ranking as a top producer and achieving highest sales volume.  Prior to joining Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, she was the owner/broker for Vasu Real Estate and has served as community sales manager for JTS Communities, JMC Construction, Lakemont Homes and Lewis Homes in the Elk Grove area.  She is an active supporter of several local public schools and children’s charities.

Vance Vasu has been a licensed agent since 2002 and previously worked with Vasu Real Estate and Lyon Real Estate.  Prior to entering the business, he was a graphic designer and art director for more than 30 years, working at local television stations KOVR and KTXL.  Vasu is also an active designer and illustrator for the Spotlight Elk Grove Foundation, which provides scholarships for local Elk Grove high school graduates.  He earned his associate’s degree in graphic arts from American River College and attended San Jose and Sacramento State Universities.

Prior to joining Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, Hovland worked at Vasu Real Estate, JTS Communities, Morrison Homes and Lakemont Homes.  She has more than 17 years experience, has closed more than $250 million in sales and has achieved numerous awards throughout her career.  In her free time, Hovland recognizes the importance of donating her time to children’s developmental growth and supports the education system by actively volunteering at her sons’ schools.

Also a 17-year real estate veteran, Vasu-Thompson previously worked at Vasu Real Estate and was community sales manager for JTS Communities, Dunmore homes and Lakemont homes in Elk Grove, Sacramento, Yolo and Placer Counties.  She has closed more than $250 million in sales, achieved numerous awards for top producer, and was named the number one agent in sales volume for Northern California.  Aside from real estate, Vasu-Thompson enjoys running to help support the community.  She has participated in the Nike’s Women’s Fitness Festival to benefit WEAVE, the Turkey Trot Run to Feed the Hungry, and the Shamrock Half Marathon.
