George Tan Named Sales Associate for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Cupertino

Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, the leading provider of real estate services in the South Bay, announced today that George Tan has joined the company as a sales associate in its Cupertino office.  Tan will work with his mother, Mary Tan, to form the Mary Tan Realty Team.  The team will build upon Mary Tan’s 27 years of experience in the Cupertino market and continue to specialize in residential sales in the Kennedy Middle and Monta Vista High School neighborhoods.

Prior to joining Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, Tan worked at Cupertino-based Apple, Inc. as a manager in finance.  He and his team were responsible for financial planning and analysis for Apple and for managing the financials of Apple’s worldwide sales and service organization.  Prior to Apple, Tan worked at Cisco Systems in both the sales-finance and engineering-finance departments.

“We are thrilled to have George join our office and partner with his mother, Mary,” said Nina Yamaguchi, manager of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Cupertino.  “I am particularly excited about this partnership because they are unlike any other real estate team.  Mary has nearly three-decades of experience and has built an incredible business and solid reputation in the Cupertino market.  Combined with George’s business and financial background, they make an exceptional duo.”

Tan earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from Santa Clara University.  He is also a graduate of three Cupertino schools: Stevens Creek Elementary, Kennedy Middle and Monta Vista High School.
