Home Prices in U.S. Cities Rose 2.3% in March From Year Earlier

An interesting read from Bloomberg regarding the latest S&P Case Shiller Report.

The S&P/Case-Shiller home-price index of property values in 20 cities increased 2.3 percent from March 2009, the group said today in New York. The median forecast of economists surveyed by Bloomberg News projected a 2.5 percent advance. Nationally, prices last quarter dropped 3.2 percent from the previous three months.
